MOONSTAR
Since 1873 Moonstar shoes are manufactured in the Japanese city Kurume, using traditional techniques which can only be done by hand. The sturdy canvas fabric is covered with fine rubber, which is fixed using the rare Ka-Ryu process (vulcanization): Each shoe is "baked" for 70 minutes in an oven at 120° C. The characteristic sole is flexible and durable and makes every Moonstar as unique as it is and gives it longevity.
